Welcome to the T-34
Association
What's New
The
June Mentor Monitor is now available online. One
T-34 Association member liked it so much he called Dan
Thomas to tell him it was the best issue of a warbird
magazine he has ever seen. Special thanks to Eric Van
Gilder who -- fortunately for the T-34s in the western
USA -- likes to hang out with us at Palm Springs. Click
here to
download the June issue -- member login required. Click
here for help with that. It is a big issue (40
pages, 11MB) so give it time to download.

T-34s without the Saunders Strap or Parks Industries
H-beam which have time left their 120/120/600 hour
inspection can continue to fly beyond May 15, 2010 but
there are some things you need to do. Click
here to go directly to Dan Thomas' Memo to Members
#75 (members only access required) for a review of what
needs to be done. Anyone can view the Time Extension
documents, checklists, and sample letters on
this page.

Because the T-34 Association is dedicated
to the safe operation of the Beech T-34 Mentor, we have
put together a list of additional inspection areas that
may not be on your annual inspection list. We want all
operators and maintenance shops to be aware of these
areas so that preventive measures can be taken. Click
here.

T-34 Association Objectives:
To keep T-34s flying
safely, at or near their certificated limits, with a minimum of
inspections or modifications.
To return the T-34 to its historic
position as the most desirable and widely sought after warbird in
the world.
The T-34
Association, Inc. is a non-profit corporation promoting the safe
enjoyment of the Beechcraft T-34 Mentor. The Mentor is known for its
honest flight characteristics, aerobatic flight capabilities, and
formation flying. The tandem seat trainer was built for the U.S. Air
Force, U.S. Navy, and sold to many other military training commands
around the world. As such, the T-34 is a true Warbird and a welcomed
guest at all airshows. Membership in the T-34 Association is open to
anyone with interest in the Mentor. We have members around the world.
