CG-21 was built in 1954 and served in the Chilean Air Force as Chilean Aircraft No. 173. It was imported in 1988 along with 16 other Chilean T-34’s by OK Aviation of California. CG-21 was purchased by Steven Kander and Jane Rubenstein as Kand Air of Missouri in 1989. In 1991 Cliff Jensen of Oregon purchased CG-21 which he owned alongside G-62 until his death. Fast Aircraft of Indiana purchased CG-21 in 2009 and is only the third civilian owner of the aircraft.

The aircraft was modified to 285 HP by legendary Parks Industries of Texas in 1994. The aircraft was further modified by Parks Industries in 2009 with the Parks Spar and H-Beam which returned CG-21 to full airworthiness as an aerobatic category aircraft. The aircraft avionics were significantly updated and include XM weather, Satellite Radio, Active Traffic Collision Avoidance (TCAD), and a Garmin stack with WAAS approach capability tied to the STEC 50 Autopilot.
