The plane
was apparently picked up by a USAF Aero Club and received USAF number
57-6552. 6552 couldn't get FAA certification so they traded it to the
USAF museum for 57-6553, and 6552 (formerly USN 144090) went to
Randolph to be put on display. Though it is a B-model, it represents the T-34As that flew
at Randolph AFB and other USAF training bases in the 1950s. This photos were taken before it was repainted in
2000, but it looks about the same today.
