T-34 Association Email Lists

The T-34 Association has two email lists that members should know about.

Members List

All members of the T-34 Association (if we have an email address) are placed on this email list. It is used by the board of directors to send an occasional email with an important message that all members should be aware of. The "Memos to Member" series that Dan Thomas has authored since the 12/04 crash are the best example of how we use this list. Only board members can use the mail to send a note out to the membership.

Members don't have to do anything to be added to this list. However, if we overlook adding you to the list send an email to t-34-main-request@t-34.com with the word SUBSCRIBE in the subject line. If for some reason you don't want your email address on this list, let us know by sending a note to the t-34-main-request@t-34.com with the word UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line.

Chat List

The board of directors started a members only "chat list" in August 2005.

To add your address to the "chat list" address an email to t-34-chat-request@t-34.com with the word SUBSCRIBE in the subject line.

We encourage list subscribers to:

  • Share your ideas and ask your questions, but use appropriate discretion with subjects and language.

  • Put your name in your emails to the list so people know who is talking. Email addresses do not always tell the reader who is talking.

  • Give the name of the speaker that you quote and a link to any reference that you refer to. Doing so will maximize your credibility and give the reader an opportunity to look into what you are talking about.

  • Use the subject of your note to tell people what you will be talking about. Treat it like the headline on a news story. In fact, you may want to wait until after you have written your note before you give your note a subject.

To remove your email address from the list address an email to t-34-chat-request@t-34.com

with the word UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line.

If you have any questions or comments about the any of our email lists, send a note to our webmaster.
