Answer: Cost and repetitive inspection intervals are listed in the table below. See additional notes after the table.

Re-inspection intervals may be less for some aircraft. It depends on what is found when the work is done.

Parks Industries offers the Spar and H-Beam AMOCs for $36,500 if done at the same time. Parks will also do the H-Beam AMOC for an aircraft with the Nogle & Black Common Spar AMOC. We do not have any pre-conditions except for the Eddy current  inspection which we credit $500 included in the turn key price. We try to schedule at least 3 aircraft for this inspection as we bring in a tech from Dallas for this. With 3 total aircraft there is no additional charge to the owner. This has been a standard policy for the last 2 years. If we find something else that needs to be addressed there will be additional parts and labor and owner will be notified in advance. The Station 66 compliance is included with the Spar AMOC.

The T-34 Spar Corp WS66 can be applied to an aircraft with Parks Spar to extend re-inspection interval of that area from 500 hours to 3,000 hours.

Aviadesign does not have any Saunders Straps in stock. They want a sizeable number of people to place orders before they will resume production. If aircraft has a Saunders Strap, permission must be obtained from the FAA to use the T-34 Spar Corp's WS66 AMOC.

The T-34 Spar Corp Doubler Plate AMOC is currently priced at $5,000 for the kit and estimated $15,000 installed (including kit). Our Wing Station 66 kit is $2,500 and $5,000 installed. Our ALEC kit is $10,000 and $12,500 installed. We would offer a package deal on all three for $30,000 installed.

Re-inspection interval for the ALEC AMOC is 2900 hours. It requires the bolt hole eddy current inspection of the 8 (#8 and #9) fastener holes in the spar carry through.

The T-34 Spar Corp AMOCs are available from six installers around the USA. Click here for information on and the location of these vendors.

AD 2001-31-18 requires inspection of the lower, after bathtub fittings. If a dye penetrant inspection is performed or an eddy current inspection, the re-inspection interval is 500 hours. If both are accomplished, the re-inspection interval is 1,500 hours.
